SAYA GAY, KITA TAK OK!!

Looks like the bomb has been fired.

The second video which were launched few days ago featured Azwan Ismail, an engineer, poet, writer and editor of People like us – Malaysia’s first Malay-language LGBT anthology – who shares that although it had taken him a long time to come to terms with his sexuality as a Malay Muslim due to the "religious and cultural environment he is in, he can now confidently and publicly say "Saya gay, saya OK. (I’m gay, I’m OK.)"

The comments received were not supportive till it was highlighted in the newspaper and garnered the attention of Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, a Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, calling on the religious authorities to monitor the activities of gay groups.

Seksualiti Merdeka, producer of the video clips, said they “never intended to tarnish the image of Islam” but “simply wanted to give hope” to young Malaysians growing up with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) or confused feelings on their sexual orientation.

Look at the 3 minutes clip below.

Now over 3,000 people who commented on his video issued death threats while many others criticised his decision to go public.

You will no longer to be able to comment on it.

When can we live with love again?

Malaysia has always been, and will always be, a country of outright and rampant hypocrisy.
Islam itself is a religion of hypocrisy as well as of contradiction.
So I'm not surprised at all that the vox populi of Malaysia, as well as some self-righteous individuals, will seize on this as a heaven-sent opportunity to deride others whilst promulgating their own (questionable) morals/convictions.
Don't you just love Malaysia?

thanks on your opinion anonymous. Well said.
Now the question is that when we can stop this hypocrisy attitude? Say make love but install hatred.
