After reading the news on Beyonce postponing her concert "I AM.." in Malaysia which supposed to be on the 25th October, I nearly collapsed flat to the floor. In her official website states;

Statement from Music World Entertainment/Columbia Records:

The “I AM…” tour stop in Malaysia, originally scheduled for October 25, 2009 by Beyoncé, has been postponed indefinitely. The entertainer remains respectful of the people and cultures of all nations and holds the fans of Malaysia in highest regards.

She had her concert cancelled here already 2 years ago and move to Indonesia who are also majority Muslim but with more relaxed rules and regulations.

A statement from them;

“We are not against entertainment, but it’s the way she performs — her gyrating moves on stage and her sexy outfits. It will erode the moral values of our young people,” PAS youth chief Nasruddin Hassan Tantawi told.

"We oppose such concert to be held and we will take action to prevent such concert to be held in Malaysia" he added

What outrageous and stupid comment from him i have to say. Her skimpy outfit, her dance move are way too sexy that it will impact on the social value? Well hello? Wake up cavemen.. do you want me to slap you?
Dude strengthen the spiritual and it will not effected anyone.. get it? rather than trying to banning it why not find the root of all the problems and fix it? back to your religion guidance. If it were that easy to just see someone dance that way and got high*ahem* that individual must have problem. Who even would unless the commentators yourself..

Not just Beyonce alone, lines of foreign artiste were not spared from this kind of ridiculous, stupid, not building comment made even MJ. Here are the list of them;

While a performance by Gwen Stefani went ahead despite allegations it would weaken youth “morally and mentally”.

Pussycat Dolls concert in 2006 was fined 10,000 ringgit (US$2,857) after the U.S. girl group was accused of flouting decency regulations.

Mariah Carey even received the same treatment when she was here in 2004 like Beyonce now.

"Everyone knows Mariah Carey presents herself in a sexy, unacceptable and almost vulgar manner," Ahmad Sabki Yusof, a leader of the fundamentalist Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party's youth wing said.
"She is not an appropriate role model for young Malaysians," he told.

Well what else can we expect from PAS here and now and future. Every concert to be held in Malaysia are all seem to be a bad influence towards the society. What a beneficial party are you?

They do not represent the whole society here. They just want a glimpse of lime light in the media or they will be redundant. Nothing to do. I hope Beyonce can get through this idiots people and hear her saying in stage;
