On Sunday, Jay and I went for a Pulau Ketam trip. As usual his late half an hour. It's raining heavily some more in the morning. I was like thinking to myself how to go to pulau ketam with the weather like this. If it still continue even at Pulau Ketam how the heck are we going to walk sight see.
I had to do a wake up call for him so that it goes as time planned. Still late also. Haizz... Anyway i waited in home and then he sms-ed me. Here goes the sms thread at 10:45:45am
Jay: At drop off dy lo :-DReading the last sms make me felt i want to faint flat on the floor. Romantic worh..
Me: Huh????

(I seriously was shocked out when i read it and i quickly replied while thinking "Shit. I already told dear i am at home. Now there goes the time wasted")

Anyway after he picked me up at 11:35am, i straight away directed him to the destination from my home. I was afraid directing him to the wrong place because i do have poor sense of direction you know. I only know how to direct a person to a place only when i see the road and the place. In other words i need to be with that person asking for direction.
There i was focus in giving instruction telling him that we need to follow the sign road to Port Klang while chatting. Don't know how we landed up near Pulau Indah and in NKPZ (Nort Klang Port Zone). I was like "OMFGBBQSAUCEFML!!!!" in the car. It was already past 12:30pm. We must have missed the sign.
Still anyway we need to do a turn and finally we saw the sign that says "Jeti ke Pulau Ketam 2 km", i was like YEAAAAA!!!!!! Finally saw it.. but then we don't know wheres the jetty is located. So Jay parked his car in Giant to use the toilet then we went to ask someone for the direction. AMWAY sales girl. When i ask for it, the girl was smilling at us and she say "It's very easy from here". She took a piece of paper and draw us a map to tell us head to the end of the lrt stattion port klang there and you could see the jetty there.
We got there and we had to park our car.We got to a speed boat which took us about 30 minutes to the island.The ticket can be purchased on board. Is air conditioned and less sea motion.If you take the sampan boat then it will be 45 minutes. For those who have sea sick highly not recommended.
View in the speedboat.Adult is 7rm and only one way ticket. Its kinda cold in the speed boat because it was after raining and our legs were inter locked together with our hand touched together under my men bag on my lap. We were watching outside of the window of the speedboat and its quite beautiful as we could see all the mangrove swamp.
After 30 minutes, we reached the jetty there. There were few stalls over there and he goes acting a bit like a kid because he saw the squid snack there and he wanted to buy it to eat it. Then i said "If you want to buy then buy lorh.." It was only 1.20rm for 8 sticks in a pack.He said that it was a very long time he haven't eat it. We eat the snack while walking in the jetty.

the toiletYour guesses are just good as mine. It all went down under it. The sea. The sea creatures that comes from pulau ketam had a great time feasting it and we eat it back.YUMMY~~~ Ok now gross already... EWWW. Where i am heading to?? Move on..
Sole mode of transportationIn the island, the only mode of transportation is the bicycle. It is available for rent only for 5rm for a day. To tell you the truth it is easier to travel with it then walking. I regretted to not able to cycle because i can't find my balance with it. I had it in my gene from my mom. The only 2 of us are incapable in bicycle. It was tiring walking.
It was a busy island for a Sunday because there a lot of tourist there. The restaurant was a lot of people including the market place.

The sell a lot of dried sea foods and snacks.For a small island is all complete with all necessaries needs. You can find market, hair saloon, schools, place of worships, police station, fire station, cybercafe, pub or clubs(all ahpek outside paying fuse ball.. ahahaha) and MAYBANK2U.. lol..One of the few tourist attraction was the Chinese temple. Thank god for i researched about the island first before going there and saves a lot of time because we are not blindly go lorh..
the biggest temple in the island and the nicest looking.I believe that some of you had heard that pulau ketam is dirty. Well have a look by yourself.
the rubbish.Trust me. This is not the worst you have seen yet. There are some more dirtier looking than this in the island. Yet people who went long long ago says that pulau ketam now days are more cleaner than the old days in comparison. WAUU!!!
Imagine those pile of rubbish in the old days... OMG!!! Pratically the deeper you went into the island the more rubbish you can see in between the houses or under it.. I can't believe that they can live with it in the midst of the rubbish.
Luckily it was after raining and it is not hot nor humid. It was quite enjoyable walk in the island.
